Aditya Bayu Perdana obtained his master's degree in architecture from University of Indonesia in 2022. Bayu is interested in history and the cultural heritage of Indonesia, especially its application in contemporary design. He is an independent researcher who explore various aspects of traditional Indonesian scripts in his free time and also taught recurring classes that introduce them to wider audience. He has worked as a consultant for Google and Monotype on projects pertaining to Indonesian scripts.

Aditya Wiraatmaja is a Jakarta-based designer specializing in type and graphic design. He has extensive experience in the field and has collaborated with various local and regional studios. He also runs his own design studio, Idle Practice, alongside his partner. Aditya's work has been featured in the Yearbook of Type in 2022. Additionally, his typeface, Pane, received the Certificate of Excellence from Type Directors Club and was exhibited in The State of Print exhibition at the National Design Centre Singapore.

Ariq Syauqi holds a master's degree in Typeface Design from the University of Reading. Combined with his background in linguistics, he has a comprehensive view of typography-both from design and linguistics points of view. He now actively designs multiscript fonts for Marsnev Foundry, including the commercially-successful Lemon Milk Pro™. Having experience studying and working with internationally-renowned type designers, he is ready to share his insights at Type Design Club.

She builds stories & identities for offline/online experiences; regularly working on F&B, hospitality, lifestyle & cultural projects across Southeast Asia & UK. After completing a BA(Hons) in Graphic Communication Design at Central Saint Martins, she is undertaking a Master’s program in Arts & Cultural Management at King’s College London. Chika is certified in Level 2 HACCP Food Safety & Hygiene & a member of Food Design Nation.

Iqbal Firdaus is the Founder & type designer of Tegamitype. He graduated from the Jakarta Institute of Arts in 2019, worked as an intern at Studio Skato in 2018, and in the same year became one of the winners of the ASPaC Indonesia competition in 2018. He started his career as a type designer in early 2017; after that, he founded Tegamitype. Tegamitype itself is a type foundry that focuses on producing & developing typefaces for commercial purposes, both retail and custom. And now, he also is doing collective things with Type Dialogue as one of the co-founders.

Jo Malinis is a graphic designer from the Philippines. With over 9 years of experience, Jo honed her skills as a member of Plus63 Design Co., a design studio under the creative collective Hydra Design Group. In 2022, Jo earned a postgraduate certificate from Type West at the Letterform Archive. Currently, Jo is an instructor at the University of the Philippines Diliman College of Fine Arts, teaching Visual Design Communication and Type Design. Jo founded Type63, an initiative that aims to serve as a platform to celebrate and showcase type design and typography by Filipinos.

Joseph Adisurya is a digital product designer based in Bandung, Indonesia. He designs & builds websites, apps, and digital-based experiences. He's also currently the Head of Design at Ars. and Rolmo. He constantly experiments on how design and technology can improve people's daily lives through simplicity and functionality. In his spare time, Joseph also actively contributes to product design testing and advising early-stage startups and brands, mostly in art, design, and education.

Sueh Li is a type and graphic designer from Malaysia. She holds a Masters in type design from the Type and Media Master program at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague in 2009. With an interest of finding Malaysia's own unique identity in typography and type design, she is keen in exploring multilingualism in typography and type design. Her work covers a broad range, from custom type for branding projects to experimental type for art institution to multilingual type in non-latin script, such as Chinese and Arabic and SEA scripts.

Taufik Oktama is a bachelor of visual communication design and a self-taught computer programmer who loves UI/UX and technologies. He starts a font career from a computer point of view by creating an automation program that has the ability to parse ‘what your font can do’ and display it on an online website. He works commercially/non-commercially for ‘production ready font’ and fonts-related products/software. He has worked with several type foundries to solve technical font issues and he knows how to work with fonts in an advanced way.
